AMC Bridging Courses

The following information is provided for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) whose primary medical and/or specialist qualifications are not recognised in Australia.

The role of the VMPF is to assist IMGs by providing Bridging Courses in preparation for the Australian Medical Council (AMC) examinations.

The VMPF is not a University and does not have a CRICOS course code.

Holders of all degrees, apart from those obtained in New Zealand, must sit these exams.

Australian Medical Council

The AMC is the examining authority which conducts both the MCQ and Clinical examinations.
